I came to visual media through music. Images have always been integral to my composing, performing, and improvising. I was able to hone my video skills while pursuing my doctorate with a cognate in digital media. With my passion for narrative and visual storytelling, I pursued cinematography in combination with music performance, and I used photography as a way to practice framing, lighting, and color. I quickly learned that I could use these skills to help others realize their vision, while also pursuing my own performance and composition. Since then, my work has appeared with The Huffington Post, Modern Luxury, Vic Firth, I CARE IF YOU LISTEN, New Music USA, and many more, with awards and screenings worldwide. At the same time, I actively compose for both the concert hall and commercial setting.
